Plane Transporting Pete Hegseth Required to Land in UK Because of Fracture in Cockpit Window

An aircraft ferrying Pete Hegseth was forced to make an unscheduled landing in the United Kingdom on Wednesday after a crack was discovered in the jet's front window, according to an official statement which verified that Hegseth was safe.

"The jet landed in accordance with standard protocol and all individuals on the flight, including Secretary Hegseth, is unharmed," a press officer stated in a social media post.

He was traveling back from a short visit to the Belgian capital during the flight.

This occurrence does not mark the first occasion that a American defense plane transporting a senior official has suffered technical problems.

Months ago, a US Air Force plane ferrying the US Secretary of State to the German city of Munich was forced to head back to Washington after experiencing a mechanical problem.
